Okay, that’s not really fair.
BMW recently released a free mobile application called “BMW Driver’s Guide.” The app uses a BMW owner’s personal vehicle identification number (VIN) to deliver specific vehicle operation information. If your car is one of the select models, the BMW app is very complete and well done — And certainly worth the cost.
Unfortunately, my car missed the cut, so I built a website that delivers similar information, but with a more personal touch. In addition, it includes the ability to keep a running journal of repair and maintenance activity.
Keep in mind that this site is not intended to be a coffee table book. It’s primary directive is to deliver readable, detailed information in a hurry, on a mobile device. Hence, you won’t find videos, sliders, banners, photo galleries or other bandwidth-gobbling nonsense. That’s not the purpose.
